Super High Frequency is a range within the electromagnetic spectrum from 3 GHz to 30 GHz in frequency.
In communication scenarios, SHF is part of the microwave spectrum.
5G cell phone service uses frequencies in this range.
Frequencies in the SHF band are used for:
- transmitting radio broadcasts
- weather radar
- satellite communications
