Definition
Gauss is a measure of a magnetic field’s force on another magnetic field or on a conductor such as metal.
Gauss is the force a magnetic field has on metal and other magnetic fields.
This field is measured in Gauss or Milligaus (mG), depending on the field strength.
A mG is 1/1000th of a Gauss.
